I firmly believe that “One Man Can Make A Difference”.
When we grow up and step into the real world, we are presented with two options:
- Either choose an easy way out, enjoy life and merge with the rest of the crowd.
- Or, take a deep plunge into the competitive world to prove your worth, show the world what you are truly made up of.
This is not an easy choice. Once you start walking down this path, the road gets narrower, steeper and life becomes tougher. It is important at this point NEVER TO LOOK BACK as doing that will only slow you down, add to your frustrations and fill your heart with regrets. Keep telling yourself that in order to discover new oceans, you have to lose sight of the shore.
Ultimately, when you reach the top, you will be surprised to find out that you are the only one there, ALL BY YOURSELF, with no one to share your success and achievements with. People who are high-achievers, visionaries, leaders are often alone. They may be very lucky if they can find one or a few friends who really applaud their accolades, the rest of the crowd is just jealous of all their success.
Opportunities only knock on the doors of people who are hardworking, conscientious and are striving to make a difference. It all depends upon that person’s capability to grasp that opportunity and make the best of it through constant perseverance.
Remember: “shoot for the moon and you will land amongst the stars even if you miss”.
