Dear Dr.Sameera,

your CMEs are quiet educative, along with their answers.strabismus is one topic, which most of us have avoided or not learned thoroughly for multiple reasons.although in clinical practise one cant escape seeing patients.keep the CMEs coming

Assalam Alaikum. madam
I hope you will be enjoying good health. May Allah bless u in this world and here after. may u live long. People like u are seldom met. I have never come across a person in my ophthalmic history, so courageous, bold, confident, skilful, full of passion with teaching, always saying welcome to learner, like you. I appreciate your greatness and tolerance and admit my shortcomings.

Fortunately I have spent some time under your kind and polite supervision and I got an opportunity to learn a lot of things that I did not know before but unfortunately it was a short period. I need your guidance in future too. People like you cannot be forget. Take care

dear dr sameera

a big thanks to you for your prompt and kind advice

i performed the surgery yesterday, and am keeping my fingers crossed
i also removed a fair bit of the upper lid skin that was hanging loose
but at the end of the surgery, the patients eyes were not closing fully. i myself was surprised as i was aware of the risks of excess tightening, and hope that i have not cut excess skin

i have a question: how can we be absolutely sure of removing the entire depth of the orbicularis. and are there any tips to stay far away from the lacrimal gland

thanks as always
jayesh
